This dragon is a rarity - he is the offspring of not one, but two Emperor Imperials! This subspecies of Imperials are known as Superiors. After his parents got sealed away by a magic spell some of that magic bounced back into the Emperors making them able to produce offspring! The Emperors - somewhat crazy and destructive - were able to forget about their feral nature and looked after all their hatchlings just as well as any other parent! Now it's time for Hydra to make his own journey into the world!

Hydra was born inside the cave his parent are trapped inside, but he decided swiftly that this place was too darn small for him and his siblings and his parents. He watched the Trickster and the Wolf closely, trying to learn how they kept escaping his tiny prison. Far too large even as a hatchling to follow the wolf, Hydra began to study the Etherial Trickster tormenting his father.

As he studied the aggravating creature, Hydra began to manifest his powers as a Superior Emperor. Instead of physical prowess like most Emperors, Hydra's potential is a Fae-like magical ability. Due to this extreme potential, Hydra was able to follow the Etherial Trickster and escape his parent's captive existence by concentrating on his destination, the cloudy and hard to discern outside world. He was seen by the few dragons delivering meat to their captives and panicked, teleporting without a thought of where he was going and finding himself underneath Sornieth inside the Labyrinthe.

Once he found the Labyrinthe, Hydra somehow wormed his way into Lycus' favor despite the Pearlcatcher's bias against Imperials, let alone Emperors. He has become Lycus' right-wing, traveling the Labyrinthe and accruing information for the First Enforcer. Many rumors cycle around this strange occurrence, but none ring truer than what Lycus and Hydra themselves say.

Hydra inherited all of his parent's brutality, intelligence, and cruelty with barely any compassion. When he met Lycus, the Pearlcatcher saw the strange hatchling and attempted to end Hydra's life. Hydra's magic came into play, the hatchling desperate to protect himself, and his siblings' heads appeared and biting the Pearlcatcher as hard as their baby teeth allowed. Lycus began to see the potential of having such a powerful mage on his side and adopted the Superior Emperor. As he raised Hydra, Lycus began to mellow and see the hatchling as his own child. Hydra is in his adoptive father's mindset, vicious and ruthless rule of the Labyrinthe and subjugation of the Imperials residing within.

Hydra is beginning to learn Necromancy so that he can support Lycus and the other First in their crusade. He's not good at it right now, but he's not going to give up because of one or two accidental zombie hoards. He's also being selfish as Hydra has become quite attatched to his adoptive father, enough to raise Lycus from the dead if the Pearlcatcher should fall in battle or to illness.

• An extra pair of wings underneath his natural pair, large enough to be used like forelegs as if Hydra were a Furian.
• Three disembodied heads that Hydra has named after his brother and two sisters; Koba, Aria, and Arcadia. His sisters are often at his wing's elbows, Aria on the left and Arcadia on the right, and his brother, Koba, moves in tandem with his own on the right side.
• An extra set of back legs right behind of his natural ones.
• His "extra parts" are magical in nature, called into reality by Hydra's need, and seem to resemble spirits in nature, icy blue-white in color and translucent in nature with frigid glowing eyes.
