Captain of the clan's warriors, Joan is a a strong and fierce fighter. Although she was trained since she was a hatchling by her father, Coldfur, she had a natural knack at fighting. She is to be reckoned with in battle, and was initially too impatient to listen to her clanmates (and perhaps too frightening for her clanmates to approach her). However, once she became the mate of Procer, she was able to become more patient and even willing to listen to her warriors, taking in their recommendations and using them to make them the best warriors she can. However, she still takes failure to be a reflection upon herself and takes it very hard. She understands that from failure,one can learn from one's mistakes, but it is something she has to combat and eventually overcome with on a mental level. Her body is a natural armor, with her scales as hard as diamonds and an outer portion of gems as added defense. Her clanmates question why she has additional armor if she is so naturally equipped, but her argument is that she can never be too prepared for combat. On the other hand, Procer rather likes Joan in her armor and says that she looks even more stunning and majestic. Over time, the clan was able to befriend members of the beast clans. These individuals shared their insights and knowledge, including battles tactics and strategies. Joan was more than happy to learn from these new allies and incorporated it into her clan's training. Nowadays, both the allied beastclan members and the clan's dragons train and fight side by side. |
