par·a·site: an organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host's expense.
A refugee from a sickness-stricken Plague clan, Ikana watched as his clan-mates fell one by one to a mysterious illness. Weak, heartbroken, and wary, he fled to the Southern Icefields, hoping that the bitter cold would kill the contagion before it killed him. Found by Eva and nursed back to health by Sylmyria, he has recently been given a clean bill of health and allowed out of quarantine to meet the members of his new home. Such wounds are slow to heal, but he keeps his eyes on the horizon, hoping that light will once more shine ahead of him as he goes on.

Although there are times he seems a bit... different. As if not quite himself. Perhaps Ikana did not make the trip from the Scarred Wasteland alone.

The contagion must spread. The parasite will not rest until it is nestled safe and warm within ever more hosts. Cannot rest. Cannot quit. Cannot stop. All must be infected. This dragon is no longer a dragon.
