Lovecraft_____|__"I have seen the dark universe yawning." The weird fiction writer Lovecraft - an enigmatic and compulsive skydancer with an imagination so powerful that his eldritch characters can actually be summoned into reality through ink and paper. Shy and withdrawn, a troubled adolescence resulted in a five-year breakdown of the young dragon's mental health, and although he eventually recovered, he was altered in certain ways. Lovecraft's mind opened, and he lost the bigotry that was rife in those times. Viewing dragonkind in a new light, he was pained by the memories of his past prejudices. In his writing, his stories became more fantastical and more terrifying, and Lovecraft found that he had developed strange powers that wove themselves into his prose and gave life and form to his creations. Before he understood what he could do, Lovecraft had unwittingly allowed a number of monsters to materialise, and he despaired when he discovered that he could not write them all back into their books. Once the beasts had become flesh and bone they were immensely strong and could resist their creator and his magic. Those who slipped through his claws were let loose into Sornieth, so the troubled writer decided to leave his homeland and seek help from The Lastsparks, the clan of his friend and fellow scribe Querulous. Planning to track down and expel the nightmarish horrors that he was responsible for conjuring, Lovecraft works with the clan and their mages to discover the secrets behind his dangerous literary gift..
