Riras

Name meaning: In Persian mythology, the goddess Rira brings rains to the trees and forest of northern Iran. Allegedly, the name Rira has been translated as "pure or illuminated woman."

She has a Haunted Stone Orb that she arrived with. She was born after the harpy invasion of the Glade.

A hatchling makes her way up to the entrance of Haven, covered in sap and twigs. Her guardian, an unknown but absolutely Done Fae, is muttering about running after a "rotting stupid orb", and seems to be equally covered in debris. The little Fae sidles right up to Raynan and hands him a piece of paper. "Aplicashun. Stringths: I glow. Wekneses: Noen."

An additional note is attached, which reads "Do take care of my daughter. She heard of you from our own...protectors, and was insistent that she travel to you. Oh and...don't try and take the orb from her. Or do. It's not my neck on the line. -D"

Under unusual circumstances, a situation like this would spell out trouble. But this was just another ordinary initiation for Haven and this glowing Fae was meeting all of Raynan's standards. "You're in, kid," he gently patted her on the head. "Welcome home."

"Boss?" Winhill looked up from reading the letter.

"She glows, Winhill. An' she's got a drive to protect somethin, so what am I s'posed to do?"

A sigh. "...I'll write a note to confirm her stay."
