A pacifist like her father, Layla doesn't believe in war, but that doesn't mean she can't make its instruments. While she will not bloody her own claws, she has forged the blades that felled many a villain or king. The bright and shining youngest scion of her parents, Layla has a veiled intensity about her.

She was originally taught the art of smithing by the mysterious blacksmith Arden, then honed her craft as a master bladesmith at a monastery of Light and Lightning where perfect workmanship was considered holy. Layla isn't sure what her old mentor will think of her new philosophy now that they have crossed paths again in Valkama.
