|Information:
  • Teterra, while quick to chide others who come to them for help with a scoff and a multitude of quips about how they landed in such a position, is just as prepared to offer a cure to whatever ails their patients. They aren't a pushover, they won't treat just anyone without some form of compensation, but in certain situations, like their patient's health being too deteriorated for their comfort, they will show some grace and won't bring up payment until the individual is in recovery. They're unlikely to go easy on those in their care, especially if it is the person's fault or if whatever happened is due to ignorance, but it doesn't mean they aren't (firmly) gentle in treating others.
  • They keep their generosity close to their own chest, they have a business to run, after all, and they can't give away expensive medicine to every sob story that ends up at their feet, but if the situation is truly dire and their patient is out of other options or resources, Teterra will take a loss of profit over a loss of life. However when they're called out for being kind behind their stern, analytical veneer, they become huffy and ever so slightly flustered. In truth they worry that if word gets out about their soft spot for the desperate, that others will try to take advantage of them and those that actually need them will get pushed to the wayside, or that they'll become a jaded dragon, something they know is dangerous in their field of work for many reasons.
  • They aren't particularly lonely, they were never a very affectionate individual anyways, but sometimes they're struck with a longing for an emotional connection, especially if they're alone and unoccupied, as uncommon as that is. Sometimes it gets under their scales when others speak of how distant and uptight they are, how business oriented and busy they always seem. Somehow it feels worse when it isn't meant as an insult, simply as an observation. But they know they're absolutely dreadful at attempting to open up to another or to act less rigid and predictable, they always feel like they've embarrassed themself and they end up locking everyone out very suddenly as a result. They refuse to admit when something has hurt them, not that they think anyone is really watching for it anyhow.
  • As their profession would denote, they are an endless font of knowledge about poisonous or venomous creatures, the effects toxins have on a variety of species, cures for nearly all types of dangerous chemicals or interactions, and have incredible skill in making new medications on top of general medical skills. For every poison they create, they are sure to have an effective antidote for it within a month of it's initial creation, they are incredibly careful of keeping their new concoctions, formulas, and notes safe and isolated. Being generally proud of their intelligence without feeling the need to boast, they more often than not brush off compliments about their work from others with little more than an "I know." in an aloof 'what else would you expect?' sort of manner. It never feels any more than a surface level comment to them, and thus doesn't really impact them in a meaningful way.
  • Due to the nature of their work, they have an almost complete immunity to toxins, poisons, and venoms.
  • A regular of Teterra's is Ginnette, a dragon they hold quite a bit of disdain towards. The bogsneak purchases materials like salts, spices, plants, and oils from them for her 'seer rituals' (whatever that details, Teterra doesn't know), but every interaction between the two is laced with passive aggressive comments, Teterra not willing to break their composure and Ginnette not willing to drop her constantly positive, happy go lucky facade. Her bright silks and false peppiness was something Teterra was able to look past at first, only a minor disturbance for them, but Ginnette quickly gave away her dislike of dragons she deemed 'edgy', Teterra's skeletal patterns and murky scale and feather shades being too 'macabre' for her. It was a surprise to them, they wouldn't consider themself 'edgy', and they had half a mind to turn her away, but she pays good money for her supplies, so they tolerate the annoyance her presence brings them.
