Sentinel and Grace's most blessed and third clutch hatched Aghaveagh, a chosen of the Shadowbinder. This is why she gained Shyamat's attention and was brought to the Hermit Pools to be raised as a disciple of the Shadowbinder. All of the Chateau regards Aghaveagh with reverence and even fear for the power she possesses... and this is exactly why Shyamat needed to separate the chosen dragoness from her clutch and the presence of commoners.

In truth, Aghaveagh is an incredibly anxious and nervous dragon. Though she works very hard in her magic and servitude to the Shadowbinder, she can't help but be overwhelmed every so often. Due to her being so drawn by her work and unrelenting passion for it, she often comes across as cold. She is also one of the rare dragons in the Chateau with gembond, the other only one being her mother, Grace. Unlike her mother, she dislikes this part of herself and often tries to get rid of it, seeing the gems as an imperfection. She is generally insecure about the blotchy patterns on her wings and scales as well and attempts to cover them up with trinkets and baubles.

But her confidence rose greatly when Bathory saved her from Shyamat's malevolent intentions and together, became the spiritual leaders of two Courts within the Chateau, striving to bring harmony within the ever-growing clan.
