Grace had braved the darkness of the Tangled Wood longer than anyone in the Wisp Chateau, for she had been lost so deep in the thicket that even the wisps could not find her. While she still lived in the Starfall Isles, she had elegant striped wings to match her scales. A perfect dark camouflage for a nocturnal dragoness... but alas, the dangerous beasts of the Tangled Wood did not use their sight alone. And so Grace called upon her innate agility and magic, and changed her wings so that they would look more like many eyes, the kind that would spook even the blindest of beasts upon approach. And this was enough to let her survive until the wisps came...

When she began living in the Wisp Chateau, Alwar, the Turquoise Marchioness, took note of her gracefulness and asked her to be her assistant in giving dance lessons. Grace quickly rose to be a favourite performer in the Court, especially due to her wings that seemed like eyes which peered through everyone. But some attention was undesirable at best, until Sentinel came along, another dragon who had patterns of eyes upon his body. And soon enough, they had eyes for only each other. They now live peacefully in Creirwy's Emerald Court, although Grace still keeps in touch with her former mentor, Alwar.
