Perfumer




Mayilattam is sought for her large assortment of homemade perfumes. Her ingredients have been gathered from the surrounding forests on the Tidelord’s Tear, but also from the stalls within Crescent City, such as Zummarah’s many flowers.

The specific techniques she uses in making these perfumes are a secret, but aspects like the phase of the moon or the location where she makes the perfume have said to impact some of her recipes. The perfumes have been used to not only tickle the senses of dragons but to also recall memory or heal ailments. Those that are most potent and problematic if used in the wrong claws have been hidden deep within her shop. Love perfumes, seer perfumes, strength perfumes… She only gives them to individuals she trusts the most or instinctually knows would change their fates for the better (or perhaps get a sense of karma thrown back at them due to their deeds).

In terms of personality, Mayilattam is generally quiet to new dragons but becomes a chatterbox to those she trusts, enjoying to exchange a few words about her newest perfume or some recent news bubbling in the city. However, this does not mean she enjoys gossip that defaces dragons. She experienced plenty of verbal bullying as a hatchling and does not condone it on others.

At her hip, she carries a bottle of a very special perfume. Its abilities are generally unknown, but in times of need, she will open the bottle, let enough of the fragrance out to reach her senses, and empower her.
