Biography
Rimsky
Named after the composer, Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsako
You can listen to one of his pieces here
While Calliope is seen as the “big sister” of the Carousel Horse tavern’s employees, Rimsky is seen as the “big brother.” He tries to steer his “family” away from trouble and keep them safe and happy. Rimsky is a warm and welcoming dragon, making him an ideal waiter or greeter.
Unbeknownst to his family, he has fallen in love with Calliope, but he dares not try to show his affections in fear of breaking up the “family” structure between the tavern’s employees. He knows how important it is to Calliope and would want to do nothing to upset her. Instead, he holds his feelings inside and continues to be the supportive big brother they see him as.

He reminds me of the Scheherazade suite. One of my favorites. I think the third movement "The Young Price & the Young Princess" was actually the first piece I played with an orchestra group when my joints were still decent enough to let me play violin. I miss that. Anyways! I really recommend it, you'll see what I mean about him reminding me of it, I think. In honor of that, may I recommend the composer's name, Rimsky-Korsakov? Or just "Rimsky" if that's too many characters (it might be).
