Equinox founded the GemRose, and let me tell you, running a new queendom is not easy. She took on every responsibility and task she could, think that was her job as queen. She worked herself until she could work no longer, went to bed, and then did it all over. This took a huge toll on her. Her mental health declined rapidly. She was unable to make time for friends, or even her husband. Until one morning she woke up, looked out her window and shot up. She had overslept. Someone had turned her alarm off. She ran into the throne room and started filing through her work, only to realize more then half of it was already done. She looked over and found geyser asleep at his fest with a half finished document in his claws. She smiled and let out a breath of relief. She finished up her work and carried geyser to bed before going out into town for a meal. When she came back she set down the food she had brought back for geyser and found him back at his desk with more paper. After asking what he was doing, since she had finished her work, he responded with, “you don’t need to work all the time. I’m getting started on tomorrow’s work so we can go out to the market tomorrow. Since then she always split her work with her husband. And when her daughters came into their lives she began to truly appreciate that free time. After handing down the throne she and geyser moved to another place near the edge of the queendom. Equinox is a very compassionate dragon and she enjoys the rain.
