Norovi is a Necromancer, a member of a sacred sect that enacts the Plaguebringer's will. One of the Necromantic Council's goals is to push the boundaries of the wandering contagion, to spread Mother's gift to all corners of the land. The Sourglade is a point of interest. While the plants have withered and receded, Shadow magic still flows through these lands, and it will take a stronger concentration of plague forces to claim them. Norovi claims to be visiting the Forgotten Clan under these circumstances: to inspect the border, evaluate its potential and the level of force required for battle, and report back to the Council. However, during her visit Norovi has uncovered some... concerning information. Rumours swirl that the Matriarch is in violation of Plaguebringer's will. She demands tribute from her clans, and favors those who offer her the strongest survivors. The Matriarch's Daughters are tasked with this sacred charge, to find and deliver tributes to the Wyrmwound. However, the tributes have not arrived, and the Matriarch has an awfully large army for a fledgling clan. Does she intend to claim the Sourglade for the glory of Plague, or simply for herself?
