Lovely cinnamon bun who wants to help everyone and make everyone happy, even at his own expense. He's deaf, but is pretty good at reading lips and body language, and having an emotion-sensing crystal definitely helps. He knows sign language, of course, but has gotten pretty good at general charades, for communicating with dragons who don't understand sign language. Another language he's surprisingly fluent in is Coatl, which relies on vibrations rather than words, which he can pick up with his antennae. Due to this, he can also kinda speak the Coatl native tongue to some degree, since he knows which vibrations to use.

Skyward is his boyfriend. They are very cute together.

Notes:
  • Was kicked out of his previous clan for being deaf, after the old leader was overthrown and the new one decided he was useless
  • He wandered on his own for many years, not having anywhere to stay
  • Got attacked by a pack of wolves in a strangely dense bamboo forest located in the Reedcleft Ascent, but was saved by a patrolling trio of dragons (Skyward, Solaria, and Redwood)
  • Was offered a place in the clan after recovering from his injuries, which he gratefully accepted
  • Ended up falling in love with Skyward, and the two of them are happily in a relationship together
  • Enjoys working with his hands, and helps out Cullen with tailoring clothing (the two of them have shared a lot of knowledge with each other from their travels)
  • Loves gardening, and helps out a lot in the greenhouse in addition to having his own hobby garden (and several potted plants in and around his and Skyward's lair). Gets along well with Willow, and the two of them often trade plants with each other
  • Good friends with Seashore (they enjoy painting together), Kyanite (who's teaching Kareem about sculpting and making jewelry), Kova (one of the most artsy dragons in the clan), and Kemitha (who he met through Skyward, as the two of them are very close, but Kareem became quick friends with her as well). He's also started learning how to cook with Melwyn.
  • He struggles with feeling like he's never good enough, and as such puts a lot of effort into helping others and being "useful," even at his own expense. He's always looking for things to help out with, wanting to prove that he can provide value despite his disability. It also stems from a deep-rooted fear of being kicked out again (even though this clan would never do that to him, even if he didn't do nearly as much as he does)
  • He is very sweet though, and is happy to have so many friends who don't seem to care that he's deaf. In fact, many of them have been redoubling their efforts to learn sign language in order to communicate with him (and Zellien) easier, which warms his heart immensely (although he has taken a page out of Zellien's book, figuratively and maybe a bit literally, and also carries around a notebook at all times in order to communicate through writing when needed).
