A clan nestled safely among the valleys where the Crystalspines, the Starwood, and the sea are met, the Arcana are a ragtag bunch hailing from all corners of the world and all walks of life. Regardless of personal talent or inclination, it is the duty of the Arcana to not only find a place within, but to welcome and protect all who need the warmth of community.

... Or so it used to be in the early days of the clans' beginnings. The Arcana tried - and succeeded - in staying true to this mission for generations, even while their progenitors were Exalted in the halls of the Arcanist himself.

Sailes, realizing in her absence that their open-armed policy was leading to the illness of many of her clanmates, returned from the Observatory to research potential antidotes to the Arcane magic's warp. Almost immediately her studies went to very... questionable places.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to the peaceful dwellers of this place, mysterious, ancient things began stirring beneath the mountains...
