-Goes by the name "Cailleach", but admits that that's not its real name.
-Gender doesn't matter much to it, seeing as it doesn't really have a physical appearance outside of the one it forms out of the host's memories.
-A parasitic God. It seeks to wipe out an entire planet of people due to a deal it made with it's host.
-It's host is named Henri, and while Henri initially wished for the destruction of their own race...has come to regret it. Cailleach teases him for his weakness.
-Unknown what it's true goals are, but it's very insistent on gaining full control of Henri's physical body.
-Extremely manipulative, and doesn't hesitate to take advantage if shown any sign of weakness.
-Taking the form and voice of Henri's dead friend; though it's also used Henri's father's appearance and voice as well to intimidate him into doing what it wants. Has gotten to the point where it no longer stays in Henri's mind but also takes the form of hallucinations in the real world.

-A forgotten god. It's people turned against it, destroyed it for not living up to their expectations, and then forgot it and their own actions out of grief.
-The only God of their world; Dorian (now known as Caillleach) was so beloved by its people that the people begged to become one with it. However the process was much slower and more painful than they all thought it'd be. The loss of privacy, but not the loss of ego (thoughts, feelings, and memories became shared by all hosts without the loss of their sense of selves) was a painful combination; and even as the hive mind spread slowly amongst the population the people turned on their own God.
-Unable to take back the gift it'd given its people; and unable to defend itself due to the weakened state it found itself in after expending so much energy to grant the wish its people had made, Dorian could do nothing but die to the mortals that once loved it so much. However Gods, even with their true forms killed, cannot truly "die" that easily. Therefore, Cailleach was born.
-Following its death, the people connected to the dead God mostly went crazy and some of the remaining population became "Executioners", who'd mercy kill the infected. A sickness also began spreading among the people. A haunting bastardization of what the people had wanted, as they started fusing together and truly becoming "one", and the "Executioners" became in charge of taking out these abominations as well.
-The world that'd once been an utopia very quickly fell apart.

-Executioners are much different from the way they were in the past. The many years of killing has taken a mental toll on them, and a vote was passed to allow Executioners to take “Inhibitors”; an invention of the Pythians that were originally used to help alleviate some of the pain of becoming hive minded. These Inhibitors could be used to dull emotional responses, and in that way the Executioners could continue to do their jobs without the emotional repercussions that came with all the horrible trauma they faced everyday. Eventually the Inhibitors were renamed SOAP, and many flavors were made. Some civilians began taking SOAP, until SOAP overdose rates became so high it was impossible to ignore anymore. Laws were passed to make it illegal for anyone besides Executioners to take SOAP. This wouldn't stop the truly desperate though.
-Use of SOAP by the Executioners was also closely monitored by the higher ups, to make sure they wouldn't injure themselves.
-SOAP withdrawal symptoms include nausea, vomiting, muscle cramps, uncontrollable shaking, depression, craving for more, etc. which makes quitting difficult.
-Fusing is the main threat of this world, and is considered a fate worse than death. Fusing happens when there is physical contact (skin on skin) between two or more participants. At least one of the participants has to be alive, though dead bodies can also become part of a Fused. No limit has yet been confirmed on how many people can make up a Fused.
-While physical contact does not necessarily mean one would become a Fused, it’s frowned upon to test your luck in such a way. Cloning chambers have become the main source of new life.
-As mentioned before, the Fused are a twisted version of the wish the Pythians had made. A wish to be “one”, resulting in an abomination that is physically one, but mentally unable to fuse together. A mess of body parts that won’t work as one with a mind that is mentally linked but also not one.
-A cult called the “Globalists” popped back up, with the goal of unifying all the minds as one; with or without consent. They keep remnants of the dead God preserved in their temple. When this was discovered by the Executioners, there were attempts to destroy the dead God’s parts as there was a growing number of people who believed doing so could perhaps lift the curse on the world.
-Another group, calling themselves the “Ember Initiative” was composed of doctors and scientists who were attempting to discover a way to reverse the Fusing. Their goals were kind, but their actions were anything but. In their attempts to find a cure, they would kidnap random civilians in the city they lived to turn into Fused that they could test various “cures” on, as they were too terrified to try and capture an actual Fused out beyond the protection of their city walls. They were eventually discovered and raided by the Executioners, and most of their main members have been caught. A few survived, and it's presumed those few might still be operating somewhere in the city.
-Another, growing group, called the Individualists believe that the Pythian race should atone for the crimes that they committed in killing their own God with their own deaths, and they are very against the Globalists' plans. Their influence is currently still small but growing fast.
