-Lives in a very dangerous enchanted forest known as the "Tangled Woods." Where disappearances are pretty common, since the woods are filled with Wyld Fae who don't take kindly to intruders, especially of the human variety. As well as other, unknown creatures. That and the King of the woods, who's more terrifying and nightmarish than he should have any right to be. The King is also known for turning humans into other beings. -Delaynie himself is a creature of the woods, something entirely native to the Tangled Woods, and I would be terrified if he was found anywhere else. -While he takes on a more human appearance, his true form is this tall deer-like creature with four horns, multiple eyes, and a gaping maw that splits his face in half when he opens it. His fur also has the appearance of grass and weeds. His eyes are located on his horns. -When injured due to infighting, he was taken care of by Nyx and she then helped him reclaim his title. This resulted in them bonding. I fear their future children. -Wants to help Nyx find her parents, but can't leave the forest with things as unstable as they are at the moment. Still does what he can from within the woods though. -Used to be human, but doesn't remember much of it. Something in the woods changed both his mind and physical form into something unnatural, and he doesn't remember how it happened. What he does remember is the pain though. -Due to his strength is referred to as the "Prince", though he's not usually interested in getting involved with...anything. -Eats meat and only meat despite his deer-like form. Not against snacking on other sentient residents of the Tangled Woods, and doesn't seem to find anything wrong with it. Gotta remember that despite how cute he is with Nyx, he's a pretty scary guy. -Him and the Forest Child are the only two surviving beings created by the King, Gren. The Forest Child takes on an almost human form, except she has two small bumps on her head. Gren is very protective of her for some reason. -Gren himself takes on the appearance of a very tall being with bark-like skin, a crown of thorns on his head, and large deer-like horns. Resembles a tree if you don't look up. His worshippers and meals alike are trapped inside his bark-like skin. |
