Bio: Poor, poor Selcouth has had a burden on her back since the beginning--well as far as the clan knew. She had come to the blue tree in hopes that maybe, just maybe, they could help her. Unlike most dragons who come to the blue tree, she was not "drawn" to the tree. Instead, she found the tree on her own as she had learned about the rumors of dragons who lived in a supposed magic tree. This poor dragon turned to magic as her last hope.

Now, Selcouth had not lived a bad life, in fact, she had lived a good one like any regular pearlcatcher. It was just one thing, one curse that plagued her life. Infertility.

When she and her previous clan first saw signs of it, they all thought was just a bad coincidence, it wasn't unheard of to have a bad nest every once in a while. However, unlucky Selcouth continued to have bad nests and it didn't take long for her clan to accuse her of being cursed. She had been determined to be cursed with infertility and because this supposed curse brought so much fear in the other dragons in the clan, she was banished.

Fortunately, before she was banished, she had been doing all she could to get her claws on any information about infertility. While she didn't find anything to help her, she did learn about the blue tree. She knew they were only rumors, but she had heard this tree was magical, and not even the dragons who lived there knew what it could do. Maybe, just maybe it could free her of her curse, she was desperate at this point. When she was banished from her home, she started her journey to the blue tree.

It was a long and difficult journey, but when she finally reached the tree she was greeted with open arms. The clan of the blue tree did not care about curses, as they themselves had no idea if the tree they lived in was good or bad.

Selcouth met Ender first. He was a warm and kind soul. He seemed to be determined to help her, it seemed as a leader, he felt the need to help all dragons who were a part of the clan.

Next, she met Mint. While imperials and pearlcatchers generally have a distaste for each other, Mint was kind to Selcouth and her to him. Ender had felt it was important for her to meet Mint, as he was one of the main protectors of the nursery. Mint was not only one of the protectors, he was also very well informed on everything involving the nursery--including problems like infertility.

For months and months, Selcouth, Ender, and Mint had worked closely together to find a solution. But alas, there was no solution to be found. Even when they attempted to harness the tree's magic, it seemed to be hopeless as Selcouth was still having unsuccessful nests. That was until...

Selcouth was blessed with a single egg, seemingly out of nowhere! It was a frail and small egg, but an egg all the same. Both Mint and Selcouth watched over this little egg like their lives depended on it until out came their hatchling, Exquisite!

He wasn't by any means a strong or particularly special dragon, but he was a miracle at the very least! It was safe to say, Selcouth and all the others felt so much joy when they saw that little dragon. They were all very grateful for him, especially Selcouth. Maybe this tree was the cure she had been looking for, maybe Exquisite was a sign. He was weak now, but who knows what could happen when he grows older...
