ABOUT xxx ❝Fate is can be cruel, but it is invetitable.❞
During the clan's travel from the Shifting Expanse to the Windswept Plateau, they mostly stayed on the edge of fire and water territory. On the edge of Water territory, they found a lone egg, buried in the sand. Ningal felt a wave of sympathy, and halted the search for days, just to make sure the egg's parents weren't coming back. Soon, the egg hatched, and they knew they couldn't wait forever for her parents to return, nor could they leave her behind, so they decided to take her in as one of their own. The first time she opened her eyes, they glowed a startling blue. No one in the clan knew why. Some thought she was cursed, but Ningal saw her as a blessing, acting as an older sister of sorts to the young Nocturne. As Echo grew during the journey, she began to say things that the rest of the group found odd. She told them where they should hunt, where they should fly, and where they shouldn't. Most weren't keen on taking advice from a hatchling, but they found when they did, things went oddly smooth. A lot of dragons began asking her for advice before making decisions and found themselves with good fortune each time. |
