Description:
Swamp thing...can shout very loud. Often gets into shouting contests with Pibb, but rarely wins. Mal has boundless energy and loves chasing small creatures around the swamp. She's very food-motivated and will do absolutely anything if you promise her chicken nuggets. Girlfriends with Memphre.

Malbraith is credited with 'founding' the swamp - while Zaffre already had come to stay in Ragawind on occasion, Zaffre gave Mal her soon-to-be famous scythe to explore and clear out the swamp which Mal quickly made into her own home. Eventually, other dragons found themselves interested in staying around the area, and Malbraith was delighted to welcome in new neighbors! Because of this, Mal took to calling herself the Queen of Ragawind Swamp and gave herself the duty of keeping the area safe. While Mal has no actual authority, the dragons of the swamp are happy to play along.

Background:
Malbraith grew up in a migratory feral Banescale family as the youngest child. In her early teens, she wandered off and got hopelessly lost and completely unable to pick up her family's scent. She kept searching, and her nose wound up taking her to the sweet smelling gardens of Florabrisa and she felt a calm fill her. Though her Dragon Common speaking skills were a bit lackluster, she asked if she could stay with the clan, and the dragons were more than happy to raise her as her own. She ended up taking residence in the local swamp, a habitat she felt very at home in.

Over a decade after she joined Florabrisa, she was contentedly resting on her neighbor Reuben's deck (waiting for a fresh batch of cranberry cookies!), when suddenly she felt a strange presence, and smelled some very familiar scents... and it wasn't the cookies. Her three older siblings had found her! After a very celebratory and song-filled reunion, Rauscher, Shosple, and Colupis decided to stay in Florabrisa with their (now not-so) little sister.

Favorites:
Malbraith has a lot of energy and loves to run around her swamp chasing things, shouting, wrestling her friends, and investigating the area or whatever happens to catch her attention at the moment. She frequently checks in on what her neighbors are doing, hoping to be included.

She enjoys building and had a big hand in building up habitable homes for dragons in the swamp. As much as she loves creating, she also loves destroying and will swing her scythe with wild abandon to take down anything in her way - best not to sneak up on her.

Appearance:
Malbaith is a very large and fat Banescale whose size and height can make her come off as rather imposing. Her left horn curls forward but her right horn is broken at the base. Her natural green hide helps her blend into the swampy environment with ease.

She is adorned with bones and often carries her large scythe around everywhere she goes, but she also is known to cover herself in soft silks and flowers when the mood strikes. She likes to feel like true royalty!
