The song of the Banescales:
Born of Fire and Flame, Banescale must rise!

His story has actually started like many other Banescales' story.
Then two eggs have rolled out a bit further.
Then,not too much later after John has learned that he has wings and he can use them to fly, he visited The Ashfall Waste to look for new, better than iron, materials for his new ideas.
He has found out two weird, glowing rocks lying in one of the vents, thinking it could be one of the new materials he was looking for.
How wrong he was...
But he realized it only when felt that one of the weird rocks he was holding has cracked. Then he understood, they weren't rocks, they were eggs of an unknown species, never seen before. Through the crack there could be heard a quiet humming, very much resembling a never heard song.
A while after, the cracked egg became unbelievably hot and started to glow with a soft orange light, making it look like it's on fire. John had to stop in the mid-way and very quickly land on the ground, because even though he was pretty much resistant to very high temperatures, he couldn't stand the hot of the egg.
Thanks to the fact that John has dropped the egg as soon as he reached the ground, the little dragon was already ready to hatch.
The hatchling almost immediately looked at John and quietly squeaked "Mommy?"
"*Uh,no,please listen.*" he looked around pretty nervously "*I'm not your mommy, never was and never will be...*"
But the hatchling didn't seem to understand any word of what he said and again squeaked "Mommy?"
*No, this is crazy, you have 247 years and had already 7 children and now a lot of grandchildren and grandgrandchildren...* he thought. The hatchling was looking at him with big cute blue eyes. John tried to resist this look but finally something has cracked in his heart and felt he just can't leave this poor being in there. He knows he has to be always wise and not easily get into being emotional. But those big blue eyes...
Nowadays, the clan's First Banescale has a similar role to Tignes but from Banescales' side. He's trying to teach all the wary Gaolers that they don't have to fight with them and can live together in peace.
