Biography
Biologist
Game warden
Snake name: Hill
Hawkfire grew up well-loved in her family and was presented with every opportunity to do great things with the potential she had. In her classes she received top marks and passed with flying colors in combat training. Dragons expected no less from any child of Engel. She could have done great things as an elite officer or member of the council but instead chose something much more to her taste and goals.
Since she was young she has been fascinated with nature and spent many days in the wilds exploring and learning all she could from either experience or the library. The Museum of Natural History became her second home, in time she decided to use her skills and smarts protect her home and all the flora and fauna in it. Many were rather shocked by this since she could have done so much more but decided to essentially retreat to the woods to act as a game warden instead. Hawkfire couldn't care less what they think she should do, this is what she wants and no matter how much work she has to put in she is going to make sure her place of birth remains the safe haven it was meant to be for all living things.
Needless to say Hawkfire is and always has been an go-getter. Training in the field and in the classroom gives her all she needs to be a one-dragon army against poachers. That isn't to say she operates entirely alone.
Veil is her loyal best friend and shares Hawkfire's desire and ambition to protect their home and the creatures in it. Edme is more inclined to help her trap trespassers and poachers. A young coatl, Kalliope, fully supports Hawkfire and her goals and will assist her any way she can. The skydancer works very well with the three and they make a formidable team.
They work in a tangent with Lukka, Angel, and Adelina. The two wives are just happy Hawkfire takes her duties so seriously. As for Adelina? She just loves testing out her familiars traps. It's not like she doesn't warn them! Hawkfire personally wrote and made all of the signs surrounding the territory warning off intruders and what awaits them if they ignore the posted signals. Hawkfire has little patience for trespassers who either ignore her posted signs, can't read them, or just don't believe them. She's an unapologetic deadpan snark who won't hesitate to cut you down with words before she actually does cut you down from a trap just to toss you in the clan's jail cells.
Hawkfire is one of the only dragons to get past Frostbite's icy walls. Where many see a sharp-tongued, overprotective banescale, Hawkfire sees a fierce and beautiful partner.
