Biography

SHROOM, THE BLACKLIGHT GARDEN

Shroom is a painter whose choice of palette comes straight from his body. Intentionally infecting himself with a strain of skin-feeding mushrooms, he uses the spores and crushed mushrooms for his paints, creating rarely-seen and underutilized textures in his work. The mushrooms do not cause him any pain, and emit a gentle whispy-blue light around him - though it is not recommended one stare at them for too long and note their gruesome connection to their host. To properly connect to one's skin, the dragon in question must be severely injured to allow the spores continuous entrance to the bloodstream...and it's disconcerting how often the spiral brags about his resistance to pain.

Duties: Painting.

In my mind, a very silly scene unfolds:

One of those will o' wisps gets a little too close to Shroom's cloak. The cloak ignites. It looks to be of silk, so it burns slow, but that doesn't temper his response to being on fire. Because it burns slow, Shroom is able to remove the cloak, flinging it away from himself. It hits something else flammable. Shroom's parlor-mates look on. The fire is put out. Shroom is avidly avoiding eye contact, doing the dragon equivalent of sweating profusely.
