Niflhelm
~Hunter~

Born in the icy wastes of the Southern Icefield, Niflhelm may seem very cold and aloof at first, but as you get to know him you will swiftly come to realize that it is nothing but a mere façade hiding his true nature.

Niflhelm adores the hunt, and thrive on challenges, no matter how trivial they may seem. A more impatient, competitive and possessive dragon is hard to find. As such, Asfrithur did not stand a chance once he had decided that he wanted her for a mate... nor did the older Coatl male she had been eyeing before then. Young Niflhelm may have been, but what he lacked in size, he made up for in sheer determination and viciousness. After a long period of courtship where the slippery Shadow dragoness entertained both the males, keeping their hopes just high enough without confirming anything, Niflhelm decided he had had enough. In an icy fury, he asked her straight out if she would have him, should he win against the older male.

She said yes.

This led to the nastiest duel the clan had ever seen, but in the end, Niflhelm stood victorious despite his wounds. The purple-feathered apparel he now wears is a trophy from that day, a mix of the torn feathers of his defeated opponent and the ones Asfrithur gifted him upon his victory.

Despite this... dramatic start to their relationship, though, the two of them both swear that they will never regret it, and have settled down with each other surprisingly calmly, considering their respective natures. Asfrithur is Niflheim's greatest treasure, and he makes sure that she knows that, every day.
