Spectre

Spectre is mentalist(mind reader) and a popular Forget-Me-Nots Troupe member. He is a pretty clever user of the special eye powers they have begun to spread through the clan. Speaking of which, his powers allow him to feel a great connection to the feelings and emotions of the forest around him, so much that he can even "speak" to the trees. Although this isn't direct words, it's enough to understand what the plants have experienced throughout the day and living within the Nature Flight this power is very useful. While he can talk to all plants, for his job in specific, he uses a special flowering plant to use to help him gather the intel he uses in his performances.

As a mentalist, Spectre usually puts on shows that he uses his powers to "read dragon's minds" or otherwise ask his plants what they were doing. Spectre's cleverness comes from planting one of the plants he can connect to very well which is purple orchids. Anyone who buys one from him (yes he grows orchids too, sort of a hobby when not performing) are usually targets for his show. While the plants as stated don't speak words, they communicate thoughts and feelings of those around them as well as their own to Spectre. In addition to this information from orchids, Spectre also gets information to those who eat his Nightshade plants(purple/dark red tomatoes, another plant he grows and has a strong connection -yet weaker than his orchids- with). When dragons watch his show they typically eat in the theater (hence the phrase dinner and a show). When someone eats these plants, Spectre's powers really kick. Spectre can pick up on problems or desires that the individuals have at this point which helps him understand the individual and predict their actions within the previous week(recent stuff). From here Spectre wows his audience and volunteer. While none of the dragons in the audience know his real power, the only ones who do are his caretaker, troupe, and of course Lavender and Naomi.

Spectre doesn't just use his powers to perform. For some time he wanted to be part of the Glade Guard and protect the clan though he was convinced otherwise once he discovered a drawback to his powers. Since Spectre is so in-sync with the plants around him to the point he can sense their feelings and other dragons feelings, he is also deeply affected by those emotions himself. When plants or other dragons are in physical pain(more than just steeping on them or pruning them but rather magically damage or severe plant harm like burns from fire or poison), Spectre himself will also feel drained. As such being in battle with others close to him would only make him a liability. Though all plants have this affect on Spectre it is orchids and some night shade plants that have the greatest impact on him. As such, Spectre is also wary of those who buys his Orchids only allowing those who takes great care of them as well as allowing the Festive Flowers to use them for the show and collects them afterward. The troupe also likes taking care of them alongside Spectre as a hobby they all love to bond with as well as making tomato sauce from the nightshade plants Spectre grows. Though Spectre has not become part of the Glade guard, he still uses his powers to help other dragons usually through therapy under his mentalist name. Some dragons who have a definite hard time feeling accepted in the clan like Plague dragons or Raini to those who have simpler issues like petty disputes will always feel welcome when greeted by Spectre.

Other things Spectre does to help the clan also involves using his powers to sense where the jacklevine is moving so that the clan can help move plants and animals to safety while they deal with the jacklevine. Spectre usually feels drained around the deadly parasite that flows hidden in the ground so he has to stay back in any fights against the thing. His mom and dad always makes sure he stays safe too and stays with him when they are out on opts. When the Jacklevine gets too close, it can make Spectre faint if any plants are dying nearby, especially if they are orchids or nightshades. Since these two plants are ones he is sensitive to best, he also will place some in watched areas under Jingle and Jangles' care. He is able to sense changes before they hurt these plants so he can get to them before they are in danger which in turn helps his own energy. Though Spectre feels weak if they ae hurt, he also has increased stamina and is happier when they are too(stamina wise, you don't run a mile unhappily). As such, Spectre can usually get far enough away for his powers to be unable to sense the change and drain him. On another note, Bobcat can also stop his powers if he is starting to feel the effects on missions so it is often that they team up on these ventures. With the spread of this nasty plant like parasite, more of the clan knows Spectre's powers and as such helps him out. Bahgera even turned it into a game with the other Tricksters as Capture the Orchid to recover them before they get hurt, to having the whole hideout protect the Orchid's as their own mascot flower. I think something with Orchidspectre being a fan of the Tricksters that really makes them love Orchids and helping spectre.

As for life around the clan when Spectre has time to himself, Spectre usually likes to practice with the rest of the troupe on improving their performances as well as helping each other with their hobbies to bond. Spectre especially loves Joyce helping grow his plants and Circe keeping his plants from sickness. Though Circe is a plague dragon in the troupe, Spectre wouldn't trust anyone more with his secret just proving that the broken armistice isn't what makes dragons grow apart. Spectre also loves visiting the gardens around the clan and on several occasions has been chosen to judge a best garden competition. Spectre also likes hanging out with Auberon a new Veilspun dragon and enjoys helping him care for the flowers he grows and giving him pointers (just some tips from one Nature dragon to an Earth dragon). In return, Auberon makes him some fun different styles of pots for his orchids and nightshades to grow from, hanging gardens being his MO. Spectre also visits his older siblings Violet, Amethyst, Iris, Quartz, Wick, Enid, and Aloe to check in with them and have a cup of tea which usual ends with a game of power vs non-powered siblings or Mirrors vs Tundras: though overall no one has every been able to beat Iris even when is was 1 vs 7. That mirror is competitive.
