NightShade is pretty menacing to the other dragons especially when irritated but really he likes to play a trick or two. Yup, he's a trickster. Ever since Phantom joined the Tricksters, more mirrors have begun to join like NightShade. NightShade, very often, likes to sneak into Shadow clan or hide about in the shadows where he pulls pranks or hunts. He is frequently despised by travelers when he switchs signs or jumps out of the dark at them (afterwards he usually runs off laughing or snatching your bag till you have to catch him- which is hard because he's fast on his feet).

NightShade also likes hunting as well. His familiar, Black Wolf, likes to help him too. NightShade will ambush his prey and chase them to where his familiar is waiting to strike. They do a similar thing with travelers except an exchange of the travelers goods as they jump in between the forest path.

After losing a bet with his guild the Tricksters, Nightshade missed out on a Drakfest's Carol along with another his dear friend, Tricksy. Nightshade ended up as the runner for Trick or Treating instead of the greeter. He doesn't mind because of his Trickster ways, but who ever wants to turn down scaring the kids!
