Arza
Quiet || Observant || Loner "Observe and be filled with knowledge." Theme Song Arza was a dark scaled dragon born into the land of the Lightweaver. He was raised lovingly by his parents and obviously gained his observation skills from them. Rather than running around playing with his siblings or the other hatchlings in the clan, he'd sit and watch silently either off on his own or with one of his parents. The young dragon learned a lot simply by observation and gained a sense of what he wanted to do when he grew up: become a clan guard. It would take a lot of work, as his parents claimed while trying to ready him and his expectations. As he grew older, Arza took to books and learning how to use magic. His sheer size would make him a formidable guard as it was but the imperial knew magic could be much more useful. His body was so long and his wingspan could be troublesome in tight spaces and would only get more so when he reached his full size. It would be much safer to his own clan if he could fight with powerful magic when needed while still being able to resort to physically attacking if necessary. The imperial found he had a knack for performing magic anyway and quickly consumed what he could learn as he grew his abilities. His parents couldn't have been more proud to see his dedication and he was proud of himself as well whenever he looked back on how far he'd come. Some dragons wondered if and when he'd take a mate once he'd reached that age for a while—or even make some friends given he rarely interacted with most of them. Arza would admit, he liked keeping to himself and hadn't put much thought into either of those. During training he'd go off on his own and when he was on a patrol sometimes he'd take his time before coming home. It wasn't like he disliked his clanmates but he never planned on settling down in his birth clan forever. They had his parents to protect them and didn't really need him there. Eventually, he announced his decision to leave. His family was saddened by the news but understood; all his siblings had left so it was natural he would too eventually. Arza headed for Shadow, the dark territory blending well with his scales. The trees were tightly packed together but he actually liked the enclosed space; it challenged him to really keep a look out and he felt less exposed compared to the openness of Light. Upon finding the Cult of Faerie in the Wispwillow Grove, the imperial knew he'd found his home. The sub-clan was still new and gladly took him in as a guard for their clan. He still tends to keep to himself but has aided in strengthening his new home and adapted quickly to it as well. Watching it grow makes him happy to see, knowing they trust his skills and that he can trust them as well. |
