Biography
Notes:
- A failed attempt to bring together Plague and Nature as a symbol of peace
- Uses their strange appearance and musical talent to lure hatchlings into forests and mires where they are never seen again.
- Spirits are attracted to his song and it is said he's cursed to bear their company and those are souls of his victims
- The spirits are actually not his victims, though many have died from his misleading ways
- His eyes are said to be able freeze his victims in place while his songs lead them to drowning in swamps, bogs, or for the spirits to take possession of them until the dragon's untimely death
I hummed a special tune as I lead two hatchlings through the forest to my home, ugly little things they were. They wouldn't shut up on the way there, babbling on about what they wanted from their mother next gifting holiday. I couldn't wait to bring them home. The dry forest aroma quickly turned to damp swampy stench and I started to tread through wet grass. The little girls went silent and gaped at the nasty bog scene, occasionally picking their feet up higher, trying to avoid getting mud under their claws.
"I wanna go home.." One of them muttered.
"But I haven't shown you mine yet, it's very pretty. Just across this bog. The only way to get to it is to swim." I smirked, looking back at them.
They shut up once again and we stopped at the edge of the bog.
"Just jump right in and start swimming, I'll stay here and make sure you get across good."
They did as they were told, hopping in the black water happily. As soon as they hit, though, their heads went under the water. The hatchlings bobbed up and down, sputtering water every chance they got. Eventually, they never came back up and a smile creeped up on my cheeks.
"Thank gods, they've finally shut up..."
