„Care to hear a story?“ The Fae flaps his wings quickly and finally lands on a large stone, looking up to you. „Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Yakko. And I really love telling stories.“ The young dragon carefully folds his wings and sits down, his eyes are watching and waiting for a reaction. He seems to wait for an invitation to tell more, but he decides to continue anyway: „You know, I was born at the Starwood Strands. When I was only a few days old and watching the waves with my twin sister Yaki, I heard the wind talking to me. Don't laugh, I'm serious!“ He seems somewhat sulky as his crests is pulled in slightly for a second. „The wind told me stories. Stories about heroes and gods, about warriors and magic. About morals, believing in your friends and never giving up. That was the time I grew fascinated of stories. And it was not only me, my sister shared my enthusiasm.“ He watches the wind rustling through the leaves. „We shared the stories we heard. We were bugging our whole clan with them. We created our own stories. But in the first place: we craved to hear more.“ Now he can't hold back his inner turbulence and hops around on the stone. „The thing is... the Starfall Isles are kiii~nd of an Island. Water everywhere. You can't leave without enough proviant and the winds are terrible. It was way too dangerous. But I was lucky. I found friends, friends who love stories, too. They took me with them and since then we are travelling. We are travelling and listening to stories, sharing stories.“ Yakko hops towards you and regains some composure. „So... do you care to hear a story?“ |

Yakko flaps his wings and jumps in the air, flying a circle around you. „I really want to introduce you to my friends. Come on, let's meet them!“ Quickly he finds his way through the trees and just stops to see if you are still following. His goal are a group of dragons resting at a clearing. „I'll introduce them!“, Yakko says. He seems to be excited and you don't dare to stop him. |

“Hello, I'm Neuschnee“, the Pearlcatcher says. „Pleased to make your acquiantance.“ „She loves stories about demons“, Yakko adds. „True. Though probably not the demons you are thinking about.“ She is stroking the pearl in front of her with her front paws. „You see, I don't like to think in black and white. The world I imagine are layers of greyscale. There is neither good nor evil, everyone is motivated by their own ideas and beliefs. Some may share them, some may not. Thinking about what is right or wrong is subjective, but you should never prejudge without knowing the full story.“ Yakko nods. „She is also very close to my sister. They both share their interest in mythologies.“ „Oh yes. Mythical creatures are fascinating!“ Neuschnee smiles softly. „Some of the characters in my stories are even based on them. Please do talk to me if you want to know more.“ |

“She's Neuschnee's sister“, Yakko explains. „Her name is Raureif.“ The dragon seems to be a bit shy and hides her face beneath her wing, only slowing peeking. „She shares the same interests as her sister.“ A short pause occurs. „Yes“, she then says gently. „Her stories are based on the foundation pillars of Neuschnee's stories.“ „...yes.“ The dragon gets more curious and you can now see her head fully. „But I'm more interested in what lies beyond them.“ She keeps silent for a moment. „I do believe that one concept cannot exist without it's counterpart“, she finally says. „There can't be light without darkness. You cannot feel happy without experiencing sadness. Without chaos, how could order exist?“ Again she falls quiet for some seconds. „That's the idea I try to embrace. But, well... for the whole story, I think you should see my sister first.“ Yakko flaps his wings in agreement. „The foundation of the stories are her work after all.“ |

The Pearlcatcher still reads in a book when you approach. „Hey, Happy!“, Yakko pulls her out of his concentration. She does not seem to mind „Hello to you, too“, he says. She seems to like the color red as he wears a lot in that color. „Her name is HappyEverAfter. But you can call her Happy.“ „Some also say Hea. I really have a long name, eh?“ „She loves fairy tales“, Yakko explains. HappyEverAfter nods. „I like to find their origin and different versions of the same stories. You know, they were told in many different ways over the decades. Some are really scary, some are just cute and sparkly.“ „Though she tends to make them darker, too.“ „What's a good story without drama? I like to push everyone to their emotional limit... and to see what happens when they break.“ She grins and you feel a bit uncomfortable. „Talk to me. Maybe you'd like to share your thoughts about how stories unfolds. I like to hear theories.“ |

The next friend Yakko introduces is a Fae, too. Although he sat on a branch quietly he jumps up when he sees you and flaps on the spot. „Here's BlackCrow.“ „How do you do?“ „He loves Ninjas and Japanese culture.“ „The language, too!“ Yakko's and his wings move in synch. „And I am a big fan of one of the stories that introduced me to all of this. I remember having a hard time when I first read it because of all the names, and I remember trying to learn them by heart before continue reading the story. That was really fun!“ „You should see him later, he tends to talk a lot about his thoughts of the story and sharing his opinions.“ „Oh yes! I talk a lot about it. I can't help it. Please let me know if I chatter too much!“ |

“This is Otaku“, Yakko says. „Hi!“, the Spiral nods. „He loves games, Anime and Manga. And he collects merch.“ „I'd die for merch!“ „And he has way too much merch... his cave is too small for all of his merch. We always tell him. But he continues to buy it anyway.“ Otaku grins innocently. „He also loves hot Anime boys.“ „YASS! I do.“ Otaku giggles. „But the ones I love the most often die in their stories or are emotionally crippled. I tell you, I'm cursed.“ He bites his tail and rolls away. Yakko sighs. „No matter how it looks, I swear, he's an adult.“ |

"Wait!", yips a Skydancer and runs after the rolling Spiral. "Oh well", Yakko says. "This is Pixel. He is Otaku's shadow. Like he's always close to him and mimics his behaviour. Or at least... he tries to." You can watch the Skydancer's awkward attempt to bite his own tail and roll. He just plunges to the ground face first. "I think he spents too much time with Otaku. You see, Pixel has become kinda hyperactive himself. He likes to spent his time with games but afterwards he crys about how much time has past. And then he does the same thing again." Yakko flaps his wings and sighs. "You don't have to understand everybody, I guess." |

“And this is ---!“ „Hi!“ The dragon seems over-excited. „She's very social and loves to talk and plot with others. Creating stories together with her friends is what she loves the most.“ „It's not only about that“, she claims. „Building characters and creating obstacles and challenges from them, watching as they start to become alive. Even if you plan something, your character might do the opposite when the time comes. That's what I love.“ She smiles. „And doing this with others is even more fun. You are not only surprised by your own characters, but by the one's of your fellow players, too! It just never gets boring.“ She pulls out some character sheets. „Here, check out some of the characters. I can tell you everything about them, if you like!“ |

“This is Yaki. My sister!“ Yakko seems proud. „We are twins, can you tell?“ He flaps quicker, apparently even more excited. „She loves mythologies. She knows eeeeverything about them! She collects a lot of the old stories, you should see her and let her tell you some. They are awesome!“ He lands besides his sister and shakes her shoulder, annoying her intentionally. „Yaki, can you tell one right now?“ |
