Biography
He is happiest in clothes that make others fully question his gender. Long, flowing silks or bustled skirts, ribbons, bows, handsome spectacles, a tidy vest... He mixes and matches his aesthetic every day, delighting in the puzzlement that it draws from others, for only then does it really mesh with his own confusion about his gender. Neither male nor female, butch nor femme, he feels less like he is agender and nonbinary, and more like he is something else entirely. The fluidity of his expression lets him feel free and relaxed and seen by others in a way nothing else has so far. He is far from frivolous, however. Vireo is always looking for a real gem, and so he collects and repairs clothing. He runs a thrift and consignment shoppe, and he occasionally moonlights as a costumer for any performers that happen through the town. He learned lacemaking from his mother, and through that learned to mend a broken pattern. He taught himself the rest, and while he is not always confident in his ability to repair a beloved piece of clothing for someone else, he is willing to give it a try. In the winter, when his fur grows long, he braids and beads it, happy to finally have something like a mane. In the spring, when he sheds again, he is overjoyed to return to his shorter locks. Vireo is genderqueer. He uses many pronouns for himself, but he usually asks others to refer to use he/him pronouns for clarity's sake.
