Marjoram

Marjoram is not much to look at. He's small, stooped, and his talons are thick and round under all that fur. When he smiles, some startle by instinct. His looks gave him no end of grief in his youth. But he decided if he couldn't look good, at least he could smell good.

Marjoram is a perfumer, and he spends much of his time in the kitchens at the back of his shop, perfecting the nuances of a given aroma. His patient demeanor and exacting standards have set him apart from others who travel to the Citadel to sell their wares. Marjoram's oils, scents, and mixtures just seem more pungent.

Marjoram's mate is Caraway, the lacemaker. He adores her, and on their days off they take long walks among the canyons, exploring and investigating the natural world to recharge their creativity. He loves basking in the sun with her, and her penchant for long stories that end in terrible puns.
