Biography
Project Closet Holding Space
I'll clean this up later. Maybe.
Raithis trotted through the labyrinthian lair with an air of confidence and grace, head held high, crests perked up, and tail curled politely at the end. As others passed, they let their eyes follow the mirror past.
Raithis hoped that they found whatever they were searching for.
Finally, he eased to a halt.
Door 7:26.
He was surprised when his father chose a room so deep. The itching here was unbearable- to him at least. He who had gone through with the ritual.
It permeated every space of the hall. The whining, moaning, scratching racket drawn out of the walls where the souls crept forth and clawed for their freedom in vain.
They chose poorly.
Raithis sat down to raise a front paw, which he rapped against the old door and its splitting frame.
...
No response.
"Hello hello?~" He called, leaning his body up against the door. Listening for a response.
He knew someone was in there. He could smell her. Hear her heart beating. He surmised that if he were to close two of his eyes, he could even see her form clearly from behind the wall.
But that would have been terribly rude.
So he waited. He waited longer than customary for such an occasion. He waited long since past when it became clear he wasn't going to get a reply.
It was unbecoming of him. Such weaseling would only serve to mar the situation further. And yet, he waited still. Because right now...
He couldn't stand to be alone.
This game of theirs took the better part of the morning. Raithis had found himself slumped against the door when his stomach finally weighed its protest.
Hunger.
No mirror could deny their hunger.
>And then Raithis sits up to get breakfast and Ailga decides to exist and they talk and argue and talk again or something I'll finish writing this later
