PERSONALITY/BEHAVIORS
Mean, calculating, high-strung and anxious, proud
Tends to stay locked in her room, speaks with a slight accent

BIO
> Mad scientist, specializes in creating artificial life forms
> Born as princess, exiled for scheming to take the throne
> Taken in as a refugee by Snowcrash, along with her lab assistant Cain and cousin (and ex-betrothed) Kevlar
> Recently met, fell in love with, and then left Skipper
> Had kids with Skipper and is raising one of them
> Currently still keeping abreast with her old kingdom's politics while Snowcrash tries to reform her and also learning how to be a mom to a real live dragon
> Currently no formal job that contributes to the clan, although dragons approach her sometimes to ask about her various areas of expertise (Snowcrash sometimes comes to her about advice re: negotiations with other clans, Mars bothers her about her experiments, etc)

RELATIONSHIPS

Cain - Assistant
Cain is Martian's trusted assistant and friend and the closest thing she had to family for a long time. He is also one of the only dragons Martian truly respects.
When together, Martian tends to speak for Cain. He does not protest.
Martian is much more talkative around Cain and vents to him a lot.

Kevlar - Cousin
Kevlar is Martians distant cousin and ex-betrothed. He acts as an older brother figure, to Martian's extreme annoyance. To her, Kevlar represents the family who cast her out and her past lack of independence.
Martian is currently slowly regaining trust in Kevlar as he proves to not be a threat and to be genuinely worried about her.

Vespidae - Son
Vespidae is Martian's biological son. Martian loves him, but has a lot of hangups about being a parent and tends to instead treat him like a little brother. She has a soft spot for him and lets him get away with a lot of trouble.



Snowcrash - Friend???
Of the dragons outside her immediate family, Snowcrash is really the only one Martian regularly talks to and somewhat respects. She never admits it, but her and Snowcrash are on the same wavelength and their conversations/debates are interesting and challenging. They aren't necessarily friends, more like a power team.

Skipper - Lover
No one in Stormcrash's clan knows really what Martian's relationship with Skipper was like (besides maybe Cain?). Martian left the clan for an unknown reason (possibly relating to her experiments?) and came back with a kid.
She misses him.



OFFSPRING
All offspring are artificially created by Martian and Cain in experiments (think: part grown in test tube, part frankensteined together)
Her children with Skipper are her only biological offspring
