The Revenant

And in the dead of a moonless night, who knows if you are brothers?

The Lost Honeyguide

The sweetest treats are won by effort.

A shooting star...

DendroToxin are extremely busy, alternating clearing bits of Arcane warp with tending to the ailing dragons. Though their natural venoms are unpleasant, they are an effective antitoxin to the Arcane taint. Dendroaspis is worried, Apitoxin focused, and the brothers are more in harmony than ever before.

*

Greenskeeper Gathering has come as a great relief to both brothers. They are finally able to set aside healing and cleansing in favor of learning of these newly-arrived ancients.

DendroToxin is the collective name for Dendroaspis, the head with three eyes, and Apitoxin, with two. Dendroaspis was previously a coatl. Apitoxin was previously a wilds-dwelling gaoler with loose ties to the Rogue's Camp. The two makeshift brothers are often at odds, though they agree on the basics: they will stay with Cindercone Clan, they will get stronger, and they will discover who pushed each of them into the Wyrmwound.

Of the two, Dendroaspis is typically the more stubborn. He maintains a certain air of dignity, and a will to live that remains unbroken by several cycles in the Wyrmwound—and since he is free and alive, he trusts that Plaguebringer concurs with him. He carries a deep grudge against the strange hybrid of beastkin and dragon that attacked him so many years ago.

Apitoxin is fairly laid-back and amicable, though he possesses a strong sense of justice. He is also fascinated by hymenopterans, especially wild honeybees, and enjoys wandering the woods, searching for nests and other natural treasures. His desire to learn more about whatever dragon pushed him into the Wyrmwound—and if they have any connection with his brother's fate—is slower, colder, bespeaking his icy roots.

Still newly-returned to the clan, the brothers do not have many close bonds. Apitoxin is quickly becoming friends with Beebalm, who has a similar though more intense interest in bees—they can talk for hours, generally until his other head cannot take it anymore. Dendroaspis, meanwhile, is fascinated by the views of the clan's eccentric Nature dragons—Nightshade's brutality, Vermouth's ruthlessness, Shorepine's restless curiosity. Both brothers have an interest in the clan's other aberrations.

Craft
So far, the brothers do not have a craft, though Elkrekeodh is determined they will pick one up by the end of the season. Dendroaspis is having difficulty even conceiving of life beyond his quest for vengeance, while Apitoxin is not used to the idea of being part of a Fire clan.

Physical description
DendroToxin is a long, almost skeletally lean aberration with long, kite-like wings. Their ruffs are more extensive than usual, covering them down to the wings. Dendroaspis has tightly-curled horns, while Apitoxin's are long with short branching forks. Both of them produce natural venoms of different types. They have a pungent, acidic smell with the trace of the Wyrmwound typical of aberrations, and move with the uneven gait of a pair that are not in harmony. They have yet to figure out how to fly, but are powerful swimmers.

Combat
In battle, Dendroaspis surrenders control to Apitoxin to focus on spitting his potent venom while his brother carves the foe apart with powerful swipes of his foreclaws and wings. They are at their most harmonious in the fight, each finding their niche without hesitation or ill-will.

Origin
Apitoxin, originally a gaoler, hails from the Poison Glen, an enclave within Northslope Clan's territory in Nature. He struck out on his own because his venom and coloration were not quite consistent with their ideal, and he was tired of permanently feeling less than successful.

Dendroaspis... isn't certain of his origins, prior to being thrown in the Wyrmwound with a broken neck, not that he has any interest in telling that to anyone, even his brother.

6351.png
Kin
Apitoxin is the grandson of Gruit and Absinthe, making him Vermouth's nephew, though the two have yet to cross paths. He maintained a good relationship with his kinsmen back home, though he hasn't been back to check since metamorphosing into janky Plague dragon.

Dendroaspis has no known kin. He vaguely remembers other coatls, but he clearly wasn't close with them... or he would remember them, wouldn't he?

Familiar
While Apitoxin was delighted to see his Stinger again, Dendroaspis thoroughly refused to tolerate any more hymenopteran talk. They have instead settled on this large, semi-aquatic reptile.
