- - - ▢ Personality and Role
Starflower is optimistic, hyperactive, and caring. She never gives up on her dreams and aspirations, and loves shiny things. Gardening is her favorite hobby, with the practicing of all kinds of magic a close second. She is an avid explorer, something which was only heightened upon joining the Caravan. She is the best Mage the Caravan has. In the Caravan, Starflower is probably one of the best magic users there, despite magic being something all of them can use. This is rather impressive, considering that Gaolers without the power to trap prisoners by manifesting ice and chains is considered to be half a Gaoler, but Starflower gets along just fine. Experimenting with various magics is another one of her strengths, allowing her to act as a much needed "wild card" for the Caravan when they're in a pinch. Because she is very beautiful, she often gets doted on by others, but her heart only belongs to her mate Coldwinter.

- - - - ▢ History
Starflower was born in Earth, but left in search for adventure because it was, as she put it, way too dusty and not full of the adventures she wanted to encounter. So she made her way to Arcane and began learning their magic. She found an elderly mage in the sunset years of her life, and was willing to teach Starflower before she inevitably passed. After a lot of training, the Gaoler is now entirely incapable of using Earth magic, having found a way to be fluent in only Arcane magic. The flowers growing from her fur and the runic symbols upon her pelt act as activators of the magic, gifted to her by her mentor, who was luckily able to pass on all of her skills and secrets to Starflower before she left the physical plane. She lived in the lands of Arcane for a while, and met Coldwinter after saving him from a vicious beast that he had tried to fight. They ended up falling in love, and joined the Gaoler Caravan when Fortis decided to travel to the lands of Arcane. After all, the Caravan was perfect for fulfilling Starflower’s love of exploration.

Starflower is named for the beautiful plants which adorn her mane and help her solidify her skills in Arcane magic, despite not being a native Arcanite herself. After falling in love with Coldwinter, the two adopted the last name of "Winterbelle", a flower able to survive the harsh conditions of the Southern Icefield. Her nickname, "Intrac", comes from the word intractable. It is a word used to refer to something hard to control or deal with, the perfect descriptor for Starflower's powers. Given that they are uncontrollable at times, and even dangerous.

▢ Trivia

Starflower works hard to control her powers, although sometimes it's impossible to contain such raw energy. Excess Arcane energy which leaks from her mane has caused oddities in those that continue to remain close to her. Her powers caused the growths of feathers and bones to sprout from the body of her mane Coldwinter. They also caused her son Mystin to be born with Lightning primal eyes, despite not being born in the Shifting Expanse. So far, she had not been deemed enough of a threat to be banished from the Caravan.
Friends with Rosemary, due to their similar issue of not being able to control their overflowing Arcane energies.
Also on good terms with Cougar and Ruga, as they’re friends with her son and they made a surprising effort to also get on her good side. They’re amusing, to say the least.
