Vengeful Noodle
Vengie is a unique dragon, like all dragons. He is energetic and amiable, easy for other dragons to get along with and eager to meet new faces. He loves winding curly-cues in the skies above the lair, dodging the miscreant calamities flying from the Wyrmwound and the birds and bats that feast on them. He also enjoys traveling, anywhere and everywhere. Dragons all over the globe know his face, though few know his real name. It also turns out that most of those dragons remember him with fear and loathing, but Vengie doesn't worry about that too much. Mainly because it's his purpose in life to strike fear and terror in the hearts of the dragons that have done him wrong. Once upon a time, Venge was just a hatchling, one the same as all other hatchlings, small and weak and defenseless. He came from an average clutch, to dragons of average ability, in an average time of year. But they were still Plague dragons, and they angered the wrong enemy. Or maybe it wasn't them who angered the enemy at all. The details are a little hazy, though Vengie's purpose isn't hazy at all. The clutch was attacked, his siblings destroyed, his parents absent to stop it. Venge, hidden by his darkened scales, witnessed as his brother and sister were devoured by some kind of monster. Vengie has taken on the role--and the name--that goes with avenging his family. Sure, he only knew them a few hours, but at the point he carved into his soul his very destiny, they had been his entire world. Vengie doesn't know specifically who ate his brother and sister, and probably also killed his parents, but he knows deep down when he finds that dragon, he will instinctively know who they are. And he will utterly destroy them. Until then, Venge hones his skills all over the place. And despite how it sounds, he's managed to get fairly good at it, even if no one knows what his end goal really is. Venge has about as many friends as he does enemies, some even within the same clans. to avenge. |
