Stormrider
Stormriders harness electricity for the clan.
They fly through lightning storms wearing special energy condensing equipment.
A very focussed Skyrider can send energy to the ground from the sky using their mana, thereby extending their flight time before they have to return to swap their full energy storage pods for empty ones.
This is especially useful in short intense storms
They rarely interact with regular clan members, preferring companionship with their own kind. The constant bursts of high voltage keep them in a state where they can communicate with each other via high speed data transfer.
They look fondly on regular clan members just like they do obsolete technology

Lightning territory
Skycircuit was learning to enjoy the job.
The first few days becoming oriented to his surroundings, learning and defining routines and understanding the unfamiliar work system were overwhelming but as he gained understanding, familiarity and found support from the comrades by his side he loved it more and more.
He even joked whether he would go home at the end of his swing or not, after all; the food was great and he grew closer to a new workmate each day, making friends, swapping stories and tips, tricks and lessons.
