One would not expect quiet, peaceful Omen to be a child of the Scarred Wasteland. As a hatchling he was different from his siblings and friends, less willing to fight, less ruthless. He was constantly belittled by his elders and peers for his mild temper, and eventually left the Wasteland for good.

Once out of the Scarred Wasteland, Omen wandered. Traveling south, he passed through the Windswept Plateau and Ashfall Waste before arriving at Traveler's Rest. Being accustomed to the solitude of the wilderness, he chose to settle down in the woods that ringed the city. While on a midnight herb-gathering walk, he chanced upon Tenebrium, who was visiting the surface from his lonely cave home. Omen reintroduced him to life on the surface, and eventually fell in love with him.

Tenebrium's Shade affliction was extremely distressing to Omen. To him, it reminded him of the constant heckling of his youth, and he wished for Tenebrium to live freely. His small amount of first-aid training was of little help during the Shade removal operation, but was invaluable during Tenebrium's recovery, as was his constant support and love.

Omen lives in a small cottage in the woods with his husband, and often hosts Persephone and her friends for tea.
