To understand Munni, one must first understand where she came from.

Munni was hatched in the Isle of Shadows to Shadow parents. Her father JGK was the head sentry, who inherited a detached demeanor from his own Ice parents but had a warm heart. Her mother Hiialo was formerly the Queen's Guard, and more recently helped her father Aumakua (also of Ice) train the Night Warriors of the clan.

Hiialo's mother Lovelace was a gentle soul, a hatchling keeper, but with the tenacity of a Lightning dragon and carrying the bloodline of Naomi. Lovelace's father had no magic whatsoever, and his father was a Shade-immune healer, but if one were to go back one more generation they would find Erroneous, the Shade's Chosen and a terror in his own right. This corruption only happened to Erroneous in his later days, so it really had little to do with the dragons just described, but the connection was enough to put off most dragons who heard of it.

What is most important to learn from this is that Munni had all the perseverance of Ice, the ambition of Lightning, the cunning of Shadow, the discipline of the Night Warriors, and the unpredictability of the blood of Naomi. It should be no surprise, then, that storms appeared whenever she did battle, or that she defeated her sparring partners as often by surprise as by strength. When most of her siblings and peers were sent to serve the Shadowbinder, she remained and prepared to take her special brand of the Night Warrior legacy out into the wider world.

When her training was completed, Munni began to traverse the border of the Tangled Wood. She began in the southwest and went clockwise, meeting both Shadow clans and those of the neighboring territories. ...until she came to Keloran. Not only did the dragons of Keloran respect the Night Warriors and have need of skilled guards, but they had something worth protecting: a thriving community.

As a descendant of many flights who wandered long before finding a home, she understands when her children feel the need to move on. Her son Konrad has joined a warrior clan in Ice with other Night Warriors and has begun his training there. (As of mid-January '21, he is level 8.)







I picked her because she's like the inverse of my Light dragon Sonna.

Error has a child Puka who could be bred. Taishiro has an unnamed one in the den.

Valarauka is a scrolled imperial, the offspring of two guardians.
Valarauka's father is named Nocturne. Nocturne's parents appear to be progens who only had 3 kids before the account went inactive.
Valarauka's mother's parents are exalted g1s, possibly also progens. So Valarauka seems to be a pure g3 made into an imperial.
