ABOUT. This is all Brinkley would have you know about her: she makes and maintains most of the armour and weapons that the clan's warriors use, her office hours are five-to-nine and under no condition will she ever, ever do a rush job. There is precious little else that anyone knows of, and she would have it stay that way; she has neither the time nor the regard for questions unrelated to her role in the clan, so a dragon wondering why an Ice-born like her is working tirelessly in the heat of the forge will just have to keep wondering. Brinkley isn't friendly. She's not secretly kind, either. Her heart is as hard as the metal she works with, her eyes as cold as the Icewarden's himself. The only time one will see her with any sort of emotion at all is when she's working in the forge, doing what she does best: making arrowheads, crafting axe bits, hammering out the kinks in the blade of a sword. Oh, she can mend armour in a pinch, but Brinkley is, first and foremost, a weaponsmith. She was born to do this, to live out her days in the blazing warmth of a blacksmithery, to brave heat even some Fire-born dragons would not dare face. You would not know it from looking at her, but little else brings her joy. IMPRESSIONS. Hefty, broad-shouldered, and exists within the confines of the forge. Many have a crush on her but all are too afraid to confess it. PAST. Brinkley learned her craft from a grizzled old coatl in the Ashfall Waste, having travelled there when she was still barely an adult. There was something quite comical about a hulking guardian hunched over a coatl-sized set of forgetools, but it wasn't long before she'd saved up enough to obtain her own. They are her most prized possessions, those tools, and more than one dragon has mistaken them for her charge. That, of course, is another matter entirely, one that Brinkley has never discussed with another soul-- she has few enemies and fewer friends-- and keeps close to her heart. And if any dragon has noticed the way she looks at and speaks to a certain seer who drops by every once in a while to trade supplies with the clan and always makes a stop at the armoury despite having no reason to own or use a weapon, well, her affairs are her own.
