Suriya is the gem of her father's eye. She was born of a tryst between him and an artifact hunter that has since become platonic, and while her mother would visit her frequently, she grew up beneath her father's wing until she was old enough to put down roots. Suriya was never tugged by the wild spirit like both her parents. Their wealth afforded her luxurious residence in the expanse beyond the Fortress of Ends, inhabited by those who could trace their bloodline deep into the Icefields. Thus Suriya was an upstart in that she was young money milked from the prowess of her parents — though her keen mind and quick tongue fit her in well among the other aristocracy, and she has gained a warm reputation from that as well as the artifacts her mother brings back and her father creates that all adorn her dwelling. She has an undeniable taste for the finer things and is often sought out by lorehunters or those seeking a liaison to her parents. The attention never goes unappreciated by Suriya, though she is selective about her benevolence and plays certain favorites with those who treat her as she deserves. The others find themselves expelled by her employee and sole housemate, Nyshea. As of late she's been bothered by her half-sister, seeking guidance on the matter of a Shade-touched amulet.
