Biography
It should have been safe...
No one expected for two to be enough to give birth to a new monstrosity...
But they had underestimated the power and energy that had been possessed by the foes who had slain one another.
They had allowed the battlefield to remain untouched long enough for the worst kind of rebirth to occur.
Although emperors are infamous for a lack of sentience, Morderyn is something of an exception to the rule. Having possessed incredible mental energy in his former life, Morderyn was more than capable of rational thought from the moment that his body reformed. Unfortunately, despite this genius-level intellect, the void of death consumed a different aspect of his existence: His memories. Unlike most emperors, Morderyn retained absolutely no recollection of the life that he lead before his demise, creating a certain deficit of knowledge that resulted in his hunger to learn new things.
Driven by this desire, Morderyn took to traveling the world in search of answers, content to allow his other head to take care of their physical needs as he fed his mind. At first, everything was a new discovery, furthering his understanding of how the world worked... However, it did not take long for the emperor to grow bored of everything as it was. Once something was seen, it was swiftly understood... Once something was understood, it grew dull... Once it grew dull, he stopped carrying any interest for it...
So, in the place of learning what already existed, Morderyn sought to create something that the world (and he) had never seen before; And how lucky he was that he had discovered alchemy whilst out on his travels. Holding a complete lack of regard for normal restrictions and morals, the emperor started work on his new creations, eventually catching the eye of a certain goddess in the process.
... And how strange it was that this "first" interaction only appeared to be new for one of them...
