Prion: A prion is a unique type of pathogen that is not an organism at all but a protein. Prion proteins have the same amino acid sequences as normal proteins but are folded into an abnormal shape. This altered shape makes prion proteins infectious as they influence other normal proteins to spontaneously take on an infectious form. Prions typically affect the central nervous system. They tend to clump together in brain tissue resulting in neuron and brain deterioration. Prions cause the fatal neurodegenerative disorder Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) in humans. They also cause bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) or mad cow disease in cattle.

A creation of HIS design; Technically revived after a fatal accident that took place shortly after her birth. What little remained of her was patched up by Him and given new meaning. Her opalescent parts is where she used to be torn apart. The "opal" there now is not real opal, but a concoction of His own making that can serve as both disease and cure; Whatever she is, this thing is no longer a dragon.

  • The silk draped over wings often causes her some issues with the amount of eyes on there. They often get poked and rather itchy with the fabric.
  • The vines around her have a mind of their own, often relying on a specific emotional state to get twisted into certain knots and spirals. It's an uneasy display to see her mad.
  • Getting this Dragon angry, however, isn't an easy thing to do. You need to know all the buttons to press. Her patience is legendary throughout the clan.
  • Her paws often ache for unknown randoms reasons, so her wings are most often use but that doesn't help with the headaches from swatting her eyes around so much at such a fast rate.

  • For everything that she became, Prion's name is incredibly apt. She's something mutated, corrupted, and twisted by his claws- Taken from the jaws of death itself and turned into something resilient, something capable of instilling all of the destruction and decay that her own body should have experienced.
    • As a circumstance of her creation, Prion is not entirely mentally present and can be a little slow to comprehend things. She does not seem to have much of a memory, and has the most basic of language skills (often being entirely non-verbal), but somehow seems to always know that she exists to serve Him. She also occasionally forgets to eat and/or doesn't realize that she even needs to- requiring a bit of outside help to ensure that she does if it ever becomes too apparent in her structure that she isn't (there are times when Prion appears to be little more than skin and bones as a result of this)
    • She does not blink her many eyes as often as she should (and, quite often, will lock her gaze onto certain dragons in a way that makes it impossible for them to relax). She also has a habit of crawling on the walls (rather than flying) and lingering in the shadows or inside crevices too small for other dragon species to make use of.
    • Prion appears to be virtually indestructible at this point. No elemental magic is able to effect her, and physical attacks seem to be largely shrugged off- blunt damage more-so flattening her out for a few moments rather than damaging her, and slicing/piercing damage being rapidly repaired by the fluids that He filled her system with (This fact, along with the ones in the point above it, have often lead to Prion being compared to a cockroach).
    • Prion has quite a few quirks- She is known to tremor and twitch at times (her motions occasionally becoming jerky and erratic) and get stuck in repetitive actions (such as grooming herself, rubbing up against something, scratching an itch, ect.) that He (or another one of his creations) needs to intervene with in order to prevent chronic self-inflicted damage.
    • Prion has trouble sleeping, so He often has to create concoctions to allow her to get some rest. Although she has never spoken about it (and potentially isn't even capable of doing so), whenever she misses any of these doses it's inferred that she suffers hallucinations: Her tremmoring getting worse and her eyes darting around rapidly before fixating on empty and unremarkable points within the world around her.
    • To make matters worse, every part of Prion's body contains prions. This means that biting her, or having her bite you, carries the risk of becoming like her... Only, without a body that is designed to survive and withstand it. To put it more simply, Prion is capable of transmitting a fatal, incurable, neurodegenerative disease that will slowly decay the minds of the infected until they are no longer capable of sustaining their own lives anymore. (So it's probably best to just stay away from her.

Oops. I might have been very inspired by prions in general- Even if this isn't 100% accurate for them ;;>x>
