LightningStrike

The Lightning Strike are offspring of the fiercest warriors known to the shifting expanse: the Blitzkrieg. While similar in appearance, the most notable difference is their smooth hide. These dragons, unlike their parents, spend minimal amounts of time on the battlefield and garner few scars as a result.

Known for their speed and strength, Lightning Strikes often descend from on high in the midst of battle, streaking towards the ground and striking in a matter of seconds before disappearing. Although they are known for their might, endurance is their greatest weakness. These dragons are often tasked with striking at enemy commanders. In a flash they appear on the battlefield, striking once before retreating for the remainder of the battle.

While it is uncommon for Lightning Strikes to work in teams, on rare occasions they descend in great numbers and devastate their opponents. These lightning storms are known for striking fear in the hearts of dragons across Sornieth.

Off the battlefield, these dragons often act as personal messengers to Stormcatcher, frequently visiting the Tempest Spire. Their speed and startling accuracy also makes them adept at carrying messages to other flights. While their reputation and brash nature prevents them from interacting directly with dragons outside their clans, they are often seen as flashes of light traveling between clouds at night, sending messages by way of Morse code.
