- was a hatchling who was exploring the woods and fell into a lake; called out for the Arcanist to save her before she drowned
- took her soul and gave her a body made out of old snakeskin (hence her name)
- regarded as a guardian of children and youth; also protects against domestic violence
- can change her shape at will
- also likes to scare folks who come into the woods where she died
- doesn't have much of a voice; whispery and hoarse
- known to steal voices she likes
- can also manipulate people's emotions; mostly to keep people at ease but can be used to curse them
- sacred animals are frogs and ducks. worshippers often leave toy versions of them at her shrines but any kind of trinket will do
- mainly invoked for protection rather than harvests or judgement. gives dragons a means to get rid of their abusers because they wander into the woods and then never come out again
- souls of these folks still haunt the water and you can hear them whispering
