Valkyrja was brought on to assist in the capture of further assets to be kept in the Shadeveil Sanctum's Deep Reaches. She took the reins of the hunt from Niflheim, who was only glad to hand them over after finding himself ill-suited for leading such efforts during the harrowing capture of Typhon, the first Emperor subdued by the Sanctum. Niflheim is a member of the Overseer Order, after all, so the hunt is not his forte. Valkyrja—a Seeker—is meant for it.

She now leads squads of warriors from the Shadowbound Vanguard into battle against creatures that would threaten Sornieth, be they Shade or other. Orders from the top say to capture and contain as much as possible, but Valkyrja will not hesitate to simply put an end to a monster if attempting to capture it could put her subordinates in mortal danger.

Soon after her arrival to the clan, she proved her worth. She cut her teeth on the capture of Thanatos and then followed up immediately after by leading the capture of Malacadre as though she'd been born to coordinate assaults on the most dangerous threats Sornieth has ever known.
