 At beautiful summer night as Kinokino arrived to the Temple of Soul, his big clear eyes were glistening with stars, anxiety, and primal fear. Huge world seemed too much for him to take, and he had no idea how to handle it. That's where things started to go wrong. If there was even a slightest possibility of anything going wrong, for Kinokino it always did. He was always tripping and hitting his wings, all covered in bruises, scaring off even the mildest of familiars while trying to interact, smashing expensive fragile vases and alchemical flasks even if he was paying extra attention... As if the world was proving itself to Kinokino, being everything he never wished and always feared. He tried all kinds of lucky charms and even suspicious spells to put an end to this, but nothing helped. At some point he just refused to leave his den: what was even the point? He did nothing wrong, and yet this bad luck, like some curse, was making him useless and irritating. There was a difficult life ahead of him. Or so he thought, until one day a rabbit suddenly came up to him as he was curled up, trying to fall asleep to leave this reality for at least several hours. This was a sign of incredibly good luck, not just an omen, but the mere fact of seeing a critter this close to himself. It was Aish who sent this fluffy messenger in, and so Kinokino was granted a friend, too good for him, as he tends to say, and even while they are now bonded for life, the lad is very anxious she might fade away any given moment.
