Biography
Well, the reason I got the switch in the first place. The new Pokemon games.
Personally while I do see faults with these games I'm not disappointed.
After umming and ahing for a bit I eventually settled on Shield and I regret nothing.
I think for the first time I love both boxart legends equally.

Zamazenta (Japanese: ザマゼンタ Zamazenta) is a Fighting-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it has a second form activated by giving Zamazenta a Rusted Shield to hold. Its original form, Hero of Many Battles, will then become the Fighting/Steel-type Crowned Shield. Zamazenta is the game mascot of Pokémon Shield, appearing on the boxart.

Hero of Many Battles Sword: In times past, it worked together with a king of the people to save the Galar region. It absorbs metal that it then uses in battle. Shield: This Pokémon slept for aeons while in the form of a statue. It was asleep for so long, people forgot that it ever existed. Crowned Shield Sword: Its ability to deflect any attack led to it being known as the Fighting Master's Shield. It was feared and respected by all. Shield: Now that it's equipped with its shield, it can shrug off impressive blows, including the attacks of Dynamax Pokémon. |

ORIGIN
Zamazenta may be based on the Knights of the Round Table, pivotal characters in Arthurian legend responsible for ensuring the peace of the British kingdom. Those knights are an order in the service of King Arthur, known in Welsh folklore for slaying giants. The relationship between Zacian and Zamazenta may reference the relationship between King Arthur and his sister Morgan le Fay. Its wolf-like appearance may be a reference to Geri and Freki two wolves said to accompany the god Odin in Norse Mythology.

BIOLOGY
By absorbing the metal particles, Zamazenta can change to its other form in battle. In legends, it known as the Fighting Master's Shield due to ability to defect any attacks. Zamazenta is both feared and respected by all. By becoming a statue, it can rest for aeons; even while asleep, it can also cast illusions including a projection of itself. It is believed to be the younger sibling (or perhaps the rival) of Zacian. When together with Zacian, it cancels out the power of Eternatus, even in the powerful Eternamax form. Zamazenta's regal and majestic movements enables it to overwhelm opponents who face off against it. Zamazenta fends off the attacks of foes by using the golden shield that covers its front. The shield's strength is so formidable that even the sharp claws of Dragon-type Pokémon cannot even leave a single scratch upon it. No battlefield, no matter how terrible, can make Zamazenta flinch in its resolve. It charges at enemies head on with the impregnable shield-like armor that serves as a weapon. By bashing the enemies with its full might, it is said that the power can cause cracks in the land and that the resulting shockwaves can lay waist to hundreds of enemies. By using its signature move, it can go through towering mountains.
Zamazenta is the only known Pokémon capable of using Behemoth Bash.
