On the sweeping slopes of the Windswept Plateau, it's possible to meet a lot of different dragons that take advantage of the hospitality and strong winds in the region while passing through. This was true for Simone growing up as a young dragon, and although she never intends to leave her home flight she has plenty of pen pals in far-flung clans around the world.

One of her pals, a dancer named Kendra wrote her one day to tell of the clan she'd finally settled down in along with her new mate Julian. After looking it up on a map and seeing that they were only a few days flight away from her, Simone decided to visit. When she arrived she was awestruck. The beauty and kindness of the dragons who lived in Starslang quickly convinced Simone to move in, especially since she already had friends there.

A while after she moved in, Simone met her now-mate Sheik after he stopped in to rest on his way back to the Tangled Wood to see his parents. When he finally made it there, it was with Simone as a companion to show off his new mate and also explain why he was moving to Wind territory.

Simone has a column in a small local paper where she writes up horoscopes and advice for a little spare treasure. A longtime lover and fan of the occult, she likes to dabble in magic and writes ghost stories for fun. She likes to get together with Zircon for tea whenever she's at a tricky scene and often talks to Scout and other dragons for help with settings, since she's never been outside of the Windswept Plateau for longer than a day or two.

Simone's sold a few of her stories and gotten good responses, but they mostly get passed around to family and friends, some copies sent to her closer pen pals. Sheik thinks she should try and do more with her talent, but as of now Simone's decided she's not comfortable with it.
