The One-Eyed Beast

Once a seeker by the name of Pascal Akakabuto now roams the wood like a primal beast killing everything that moves be that to eat or to eliminate competition. Why Pascal turned into Akakabuto remains a mystery hypotheses ranging from being taken over by an unknown life form in the wood to a decease or curse. The area in which his wares were found does not give any hints and his missing left eye is said to be the only clue to his transformation many believing he did not arrive to the wood one eyed. Whatever the answer may be the wood seems to have claimed him as its own based on the dimly glowing crystal shards growing on his back, veins and claws.

Akakabuto is an apex predator his scary intelligence seemingly being the only piece of dragonity he has left. He roams the wood hunting attempting to kill everything he encounters that desire seemingly being more instinct based than actual ill will. He is both smart and deadly hunter attempting to separate groups and striking from his target's blind spots be that from the trees or underground. However, he is still mindful of his target and leaves it be if he smells being lured into a trap. He doesn't seem to be able to speak and he doesn't seem to be able to understand speech either. He is closer to an animal than a spirit and thus he can't be summoned nor called by any other ways. He seems to be suspecting a trap when called on purpose. Unlike other gaolers in the wood he has physical body and thus can't hide in another plane though he is smart enough to hide his steps with his tail. When encountering Akakabuto it is suggested to stay totally still and only run if he has started the chase.
A piece of ragged parchment that is filled with runes.
